Was RAMBO, an action movie about a military who dedicate his life help people in trouble in war zone. Starring Slvester Stallone.
It was incredible, see that kind of tecnology, who make people like bigger than usually, and the excitment of the rest of the people watched the same as me. All the people scream and enjoyed every movement.
Since that day Iam the person who saw more than 1000 movies in her life.
Hello Carla!
So … ‘Rambo’! 😀 Interesting! Do you enjoy comedies too?
Not really, I prefer action and horror movies.
My first visit to the cinema was ten years ago, on my finalist trip to lisbon. It was wonderful, everything was new but I do not remember the name of the movie. At the time we did not have cinema in Pico. Now we have in t madalena in the municipal auditorium a cinema. Me and my boyfriend went in April to see “The Beauty and the Beast”. I love it!
Sorry! Hello people!
Hello Lina!
Why did you choose that film? Are you a romantic? 😉
Maurília – Inglês EL6077P
Hi everybody,
Sincerely, I don`t remember exactly my first visit to the cinema, but I think it was more or less when I was about 7/8 years old, because it was when I was at Primary School in a school visit. I remember it was exciting for everyone because in that time it was rare going to the cinema. In that time, we hadn`t such opportunity easily as now!! Time was very different !!!
That`s why, today, teenagers don´t know or have that emotion, because for them going to the cinema is something normal and usual. It`s also true that nowadays they have a various number of cinemas and films they can choose. It`s much more easier. Good, things are moving for better!
Bye
Hello Maurilia!
Wow! 7 or 8!! 🙂
Hello teacher!
The first time I went to the cinema I was eight years old, I still remember the movie was “Son of the Mask”, It is an awesome and funny movie, I was really excited at the time because I went with my cousins and with my parents.
I don’t have words to describe that felling, I felt like superman or even batman.
At this moment I already have seen more than three hundred movies, and all of them makes me have different feelings.
Hi Hélder!
Interesting! Did you watch the first one, that originated ‘Son of the Mak’?
Yes, I saw.
Hello, I do not know how it was my first time at the cinema, but I feel it was good, because I was in love with it, and I do not even give an invitation to go to the movies 🙂
Hi Denise!
Do you remember what kind of film it was? Comedy? Adventure? …
I dont remember exactly the first time I went to watch a movie at the cinema. But I remember watching the film “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”, it should have been 9 years old. It was a very fun day, I went with my cousins and I loved seeing all that fantasy and magic.
Still today I love to go to the movies, at least once a month I try to find time to watch a movie, it’s a moment of relaxation to get away from the routine of the day to day.
Ana Catarina Freitas
Hi Ana Catarina!
Interesting! And did you watch all the other Harry Potter’s movies too?
Not really. I watched the first four movies of the saga, but then I lost a little of interest!
One day I will have to watch the ones I have not yet seen.
Hi Teacher, the first time I went to the cinema I was 6 years old. The movie’s name is “Madagascar”. It was fantastic, the sounds made me shake. Now, I go one time for week, and it’s so good.
Diana Peixoto Ferreira
Hi Diana!
Nice! Once per week! Wow! You’re really a cinema admirer, aren’t you? 😉
Hello I do not remember for sure how old I was, and first the session was session of something new in which ca on the island of wood was news, and to see film in the big screen with popcorn and great juice was something that already heard to speak that day It’s time to try it. Nowadays of course it is not the same session and just a trip to the cinema.
Élvio Costa
Hi Elvio!
So, you belong to the group who will not go to the cinema without popcorns and juice! 🙂 Nice!
Hi Elvio! Are you ok? Have you watched 3D movies using glasses? it is very cool. I watched scenes with a lot of adrenaline: roller coaster, skiing in the snow. Incredible sensation.
Hi Netto, I saw Avatar in 3D, was very excite, I enjoy very much.
I do not remember exactly the first time when I was to the movies, but I loved going with my cousin watching comedy movies with “black humor”. When we were together, before starting the movie we would make a lot of mess and during the movie we would laugh a lot. We were the same age, 14 years old. The movie we watched 5 times was “Top Secret”.
Black humor was a part of our lives when I met with my cousin. We always created a character and we laughed at everyday situations.
Once we were expelled from a party (we were not invited) because we laughed at people imagining them in funny situations.
(netto – ingles intensive/GEN2)
Hi Netto!
5 times?? We must have really loved that film!!!
Usually, I don’t go to the cinema. I prefer a good book. But I remember the first time I went to the cinema. I don’t remember my age, but I remember the film. It was the “Extriminador Implacavel”, and I stayed all film under my chair 🙂 So, I think I had a first bad experience. No, I don’t stay traumatized at time, but I think my expectations about cinema stayed in very low level!!
Hi Sónia!
You have to change that! It’s very nice to go to the cinema! First, search what’s going on in the big screen and then go see it! 😉 😛
Hello sonia I also prefer a good book, but there are good movies that are good to see in the cinema, and with good company even better !!!

Well, the first movie that I saw in te cinema was “DAYLIGHT – Panico no Tunel”. I don´t know exatly how old I was, but maybe between nine and twelve years old. I went with my parents (brother, mother and father). I love movies, I can say that a few time ago, I went to the cinema one time a week for sure. Unfortunately, I can´t go to the cinema now, because of my baby, but I´m sure of one thing, When I get the chance to go to the movies, is the first thing I´m going to do.

My first visit to the cinema was ten years ago and i was go with school. I still remember the movie was ” shrek 2″. It was an incredible experience, since then I became a fan of the cinema and I no longer remember the number of times I went to the movies.
Hello Willian!
Great! “Shrek 2” (and “Shrek 1” too) were very funny. Which character did you prefer? Mine was the cat with Antonio Banderas voice. 🙂

Hello Juliana!
Nice film! 🙂 Thanks for sharing your thoughts. 🙂
Hello people,
My first experience that I did when I went to cinema was very remmembered for every members of my family.
I had eight years old and I went to see The Shrek. I felt very nervous when I was coming into that room and the lights turned off. I was very scared and I thought that It wasn’t normal. I looked to my mother and asked her if we could going outside. She led me to my sit and the screen tuned on. I was very excited at the moment becouse the image was very big and I looked every sides of the room when I listened many voices from all sides.
My mother and brother was looking at me every single minute and we lought very much when I jumped on my chair while I was listened some sounds louder than the others. This happened until the break. After that, my reaction was very normal, I swear.
Today, I remember that moment how it was today, becouse I felt excited, scared and very happy. All that feelings at the same time!
Nowadays I love going to cinema with my friends and I like action films very much.
Hello Ana Carina!
So … you were only 8 years old. Nice! 🙂 What an interesting description of a first experience in front of the big screen. 🙂
Juliana Nascimento
Hello everyone, I don’t remember what was the first time I went to the cinema or what I felt. A few years ago I went more often, nowadays I prefer to watch movies in the comfort of home. When there are movie premieres of action I like to go to the cinema, for example, Fast and Furious, 007, Mad Max are good movies to see in the cinema and the experience is incredible.
EL7435S
Hello Juliana!
So, you like films with a lot of action! 🙂
Pedro Carvalho, Inglês GEN5, EL5934P
I can’t remember very well the first time I went to the cinema. I remember
I’ve gone around my three years old, but I can’t remember clearly what I’ve
watched. I suppose it was cartoons. I’ve present in my memory some movies that marked me in my childhood (not the first one), for example, Spiderman, Superman, Bud Spencer and Terence Hil, E.T. etc…. However, I saw a fantastic movie which is still present pretty well today in my memory and allows me to make several associations in different situations in my
day-to-day. Its name was ‘Back to the Future’, carried out by Steven
Spielberg with Michael J. Fox, as lead actor.
Pedro, thanks for sharing your thoughts. So … action movies and science fiction (with some hints of comedy) are between your favourites. 🙂

Hi, good nigth.
Hello Gleice!
12 or 13? You were already a teenager! 😉 Thanks for your post! 🙂
1 – On the departure of the United Kingdom from the European Union I think that they should not be taking the best attitude. First of all, there is a division of opinions and there will be disagreements, because the people are convinced that this will be the best solution and that they will solve their problems. But if there are things that seem to improve, there are others that will become worse in time, because they will be more “doors that close than those that open”.
2- As for Portugal one day following the same example, our longed-for ‘shield’ will not allow us to have the power to fight the euro, and the people will still feel more difficult … now look back and say ” Who gave the shield … “the problem is not only to have the coin back, it is Portugal to be alone, even though it has some internal means to survive, these would not be enough …
3 – I think so: Portugal gives too much importance to football! Portugal is such a poor country, where there are so many people who have nowhere to sleep, have nothing to eat, so many children die of hunger and cold, and do billions spend to buy soccer players? Why do not the clubs invest in humanitarian action and donate money to starve the homeless who are increasingly … ???

Hello 🙂
The first visit to the cinema… Was very good.
I was twelve or thirteen years old. I went with the class of the school and
with the teacher. I don’t remeber which discipline.
We saw the film: “Minority Report”. I confess that we don’t understant very
well, because it was news.
Well, we had to do a group work.
I went to the cinema with my parents and friends but nowadays I would like
go to the cinema more but at this time is not possible.
I will go soon. I hope.
I see at home but it’s diferent.
Good movies.
Thank you Ana! 🙂
